New Patients

What to Expect at Your First Visit

During your child’s first visit, we suggest you allow our staff to accompany your child through the dental experience. Our goal is to gain your child’s confidence and overcome any apprehension. Most of the time, our highly trained staff can establish a closer rapport with your child with you not present. However, if you would prefer to stay with your child during the first visit, please make our staff aware so we can better accommodate your request. We ask that you inform our office of your request at the time of scheduling your child’s first visit.

For future dental visits, we expect that your child will go with our staff throughout the appointment. However, we are open to discuss what will work best for your child, given their individual needs and limitations due to age, special abilities, and apprehension level.

For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who do not have an appointment should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming your child to our practice.
